Hey Everyone, Welcome to another season of SIP. Unfortunately our head madam's work schedule has changed, thus making her unavailable for a majority of the match's.
While I did expect someone to not make it, 3 teams now showing up extremely poor. I am however happy with the match's that actually did play. Due to some organizational issues, Joe has pulled XPH out, and we were very lucky and grateful to welcome BNR to SIP who matched up with UP. I didn't get to watch the entire match, however BNR pulled off a good win 2games to 1. In the other match, Tourneypool. matched up against Defending Champions Regul8ors. REG won the first game, and TPL came back with an impressive win in game 2. Reg won the clincher, thus winning the Set 2-1. In the third and last game actually played, pitted PZ and NH. Koty as usual per work, was late. PZ jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead and Koty wasnt quite sure Koty was forced to play game 2 as his game 3 player didn't show up. Koty had such a horrible game, I believe partly attributed to having to play early, and the fact that the yahoo's didnt help PZ jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Ant finally came in and won, but the match was already decided.
Looking Ahead...
Not quite panic since it is only week 2 but my match of the week will be TPL and UP. Both of these teams will be looking to avenge their week 1 loses.
SC, DP, PLD are all leagues that decided not to show up so hopefully they decide to show up, or they might be subject to disciplinary action being taken.
CZ and UNY both are the product of DQ wins, however if both of these 2 bring their guns this could potentially be a very tight match.
The last game of week 2 pairs BNR vs EC, neither league of which I know too much about.
While I dont want to make excuses, having to watch 3 games at once is troubling, nevermind if all leagues signed up and I had 6 games :-/ I will do the best I can, but ref please feel free to give me a summary in your reports.
Okay 1 week down 9 more to go. Thanks for no drama in week 1 and remember that not reporting your own loss will get you penalized. If you have troubles let your captain know within the time limit, because cases is cases... however laziness will not be excused.
